Daddy Daughter Day

Painting with Grandma

My wife and Baby J.'s grandma are painting the kitchen today, so it's another Daddy Daughter Day. I took Baby J. to the supermarket this morning. The cashiers were doting over her as usual, trying to play peek-a-book with her and making silly faces; she was a little too tired to play along.

The older she gets the more snuggly she gets. She hugs us constantly now. She climbs up on us and gives us big hugs, while she rests her head on our shoulders. Then, she will immediately go back to playing. I feel like she's really turning into a little kid now. She's still more than two months away from her first birthday, but she seems older than that already. Maybe just because I know her so well, and she has so much personality, she doesn't feel like a baby anymore.
