Teething, Teething, TEETHING!
At fives month old, Baby J.'s first tooth came out. It was the bottom right tooth. About a day or two later, her second bottom tooth came out. The nights leading to and after were filled with little sleep and bowlfuls of crankiness.

Now, we're at nine months, and it seems like all of her teeth are fighting in unison to come out at the same time. Her middle, top two teeth are already out; the next two teeth are working their way out, and the next bottom two are budding. Is this usual? I assumed that since there was such a large gap of time between the bottom two and the top two that the same would happen with any subsequent pairs of teeth. I was dead wrong. For a couple of weeks now, we've had a pretty fussy, cranky baby. Surprisingly though, she must be getting used to all of these teeth coming out, because she's still been sleeping pretty well. Except for the occasional hiccup, where she wakes up at 3am to let us know how terribly uncomfortable she's feeling, she's been sleeping through the nights as usual. What a relief.
So, I'm interested in teething stories. If anyone reads this, please leave some. How bad does it get? How many teeth coming in at once is the norm? Is there a norm? I've heard that when the molars come in, that's when the true crankiness shows itself.
