At the top of the stairs that lead to the basement there is a gate that prevents my daughter from tumbling headfirst down the steps. The gate is about 2 inches off the floor, and once my daughter discovered this and discovered I was in the basement working, she took it upon herself to get down on all four, peep through the 2 inch hole and spy on me as best she can.
